MEET THE TEAM
What are we learning about this term?
Welcome back to Dosbarth Elm for the Summer Term 2023. We will have lots going on this term, so please keep an eye on ClassDojo for updates throughout the term on things that are happening.
Please make sure your child has a labelled water bottle to bring to school every day.
Wellbeing Wednesdays – please send children to school in PE kit and with their swimming kit.
PE Kit (please make sure it’s labelled with names!) is needed in bags on Fridays.
Please make sure your child brings their reading book to school daily in a labelled reading folder. It is expected that every child reads at home for 10 minutes a day (ideally with an adult!) and also regularly practise Times Tables. We will be focusing on our Times Tables throughout the term – for a more ‘game like’ practice, children can use J2Blast on Hwb.
Spellings will be sent home every Friday ready for testing the following Friday.
If you have any questions or queries at any time, please feel free to make an appointment to see me at the end of the school day or contact me through ClassDojo.

Reading is important!
We are a reading class! We like to share books and read for pleasure, and have set up a small lending library in class as well.
Values for life
Our values this term are 'Truthfulness' and 'Forgiveness'
Please click on the 'Collective Worship' tab to access our half-termly Value Newsletter.
